Piping Stress analysis is a method of calculating the stress on the pipe caused by static load and dynamic load which is a resultant effect of gravity, change of temperature, pressure inside and outside the pipe, changing the amount of discharge fluid flowing in the pipe and the effect of seismic force. Process piping and power piping are examples of piping systems that require calculation analysis of piping stress and perform by piping engineer to make sure the pipeline route, the load on the nozzle, and the pedestal pipes have been and are put into place, so the stress that occurs not exceed limitations of the maximum amount of stress that regulated by ASME or other regulations (codes / standards) and government regulations. To perform a pipe stress analysis is usually the piping engineer wearing a finite element method approach and use some common software in the world piping that CAESAR II, AutoPipe, ROHR2 or CAEPIPE.

The main objective of the piping stress analysis is to ensure the following:

  • Safety piping system including all its components
  • Safety systems equipment related directly to the piping system and the system support structure
  • The deflection of the tube so tdak exceed its limits.

We PT. Trigraha Sealsindo are able to done it to give more benefits to customer base on requirement of their application or problems that occurs in their system.
